Cultural leadership 2005

Following a Government commitment of £12 million to promote leadership in the cultural sector, Arts Council England (ACE) issued a "Call for Ideas" for a Cultural Leadership Programme. The programme is designed to promote good management, offer opportunities to current and future leaders in the cultural sector, and increase the business impact of the sector.

The NCA responded to the consultation in October 2005. In March 2006 ACE issued a Cultural Leadership Programme Update, with the programme scheduled to begin in April 2006.
