Nurturing Creativity in Young People

The independent report ‘Nurturing Creativity in Young People’ was published in July 2006. It was jointly commissioned by DfES and DCMS in order to examine what Government can do to promote creativity in young people.

Prior to its publication the NCA was involved with the consultation process, submitting both oral and written evidence that was used to inform the writing of the report. The written submission can be seen here.

Since its publication the NCA has produced a response to the report which has been sent to DfES. This response can be seen here.

The Government intends to produce a plan of action in the autumn.
