Reaching new audiences

Attracting new audiences is an issue that concerns most arts organisations and a favourite criterion for funding bodies. In 1999, the NCA took a delegation of artists to meet the Arts Minister, Alan Howarth, to discuss the matter. Delegates included directors from dance, theatre and music organisations and arts education.
