What are the benefits of NCA membership?

By becoming a member of the NCA you would not only benefit from the expertise of our specialist staff and from the services we offer, but also ensure that your concerns were heard by those who matter.

Benefits include:

  • Regular news updates

The NCA uses its weekly email bulletin to keep members abreast of its activity. We will inform you of significant developments in the arts and political sectors. Also, through these emails, we will actively seek member involvement in its campaigns.

The organisation’s quarterly magazine nca news, sent out to all members, investigates broad issues affecting the arts in depth.

  • Information and Resources

Whether you want to access information on developments in arts funding, briefing papers on visa legislation, DCMS reports, or press releases outlining the NCA’s response to a past policy, you can find everything you need in the NCA’s online resource. Our new resource provides members with a simple way to search a wide range of useful documents and information on topics that are important to you.

  • Lobbying for you

Our members’ concerns are the basis for our campaigns. Using its well established links across government and the arts the NCA is able to take its members' views to the people who matter - through meetings, delegations to Ministers, and written responses - and use its influence to effect real change.

  • Concessions

NCA members can obtain concessions at a range of member venues on production of a valid NCA card.

  • Events

From national conferences to regional seminars and advocacy groups, the NCA invites its members to attend and take part in a range of events. Members can hear speeches by senior arts and political figures or network with a diverse range of NCA supporters from across the arts sector.
